Born in New York City, but raised in Northern New Jersey, Chris has spent more than a quarter of a century in the world of Major League Baseball.
Chris began his career in the New York Mets front office in the 90’s, starting when he was still in college. Hired by legendary scout Roland Johnson, he started as an intern in Scouting/Minor Leagues before officially being hired by New York to spearhead the organization’s efforts to move their scouting reports on-line. Once he completed that task, Chris moved into Public Relations where he began working directly with the Mets big league players. Chris used this opportunity to build relationships, not only within his own organization, but outside it and became well connected and versed in every facet in the game.
In the fall of 1999, he was approached and hired by newly formed Agency PEGLTD to handle all clients marketing and public relations efforts, and he immediately became a Major League Baseball Players Association Certified Agent and ascended to the role of Vice President of the group. A role he would maintain for 23 years.
Over that period of time, Chris has worked with and managed the careers of some of the top players in the history of the game.
Chris lives in Northern New Jersey with his family, having managed his two sons to Little League District titles and served as Assistant Baseball Coach at Glen Rock (NJ) High School. Chris also hosts The Agent and the Fan Podcast.
